Samsung WB850F

During CES 2012, which is being held in these hours in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled several new compact to the public, all linked by the ability to quickly share photos on the web thanks to the Wi-Fi technology that allows the photographer to use their home station or the many public hot spot locations.

We begin our review with the most interesting of the small group, we refer to the model WB850F that in addition to Wi-Fi, GPS has also integrated to make the so-called geo-location of the picture, or put in the Exif metadata of geographic coordinates place where the shooting occurred.

The camera also allows you to display on-screen maps and points of interest. There is also a digital compass to determine the distance from the place you want to achieve. All these features make the WB850F the ideal machine for those who love to travel and wants to capture and share the best moments on the web.

As for the other purely photographic features, the new compact features a backlit CMOS sensor with a resolution of 16 megapixels with the addition of the Schneider-Kreuznach lens that has 21x optical zoom lens that covers focal lengths between 23 and 483 mm in size conventional equivalent.

Lacks the viewfinder, but there is a bright 3.0-inch AMOLED display. There are manual controls for advanced automatic functions as well as for beginners. Not only photos, WB850F also records Full HD movies with sound. Available from next week at a price not yet announced.
