Pentax Optio RZ10

The new Pentax Optio RZ10 is equipped with a 10X optical zoom, high-performance that covers focal lengths from wide angle 28mm equivalent to 280mm telephoto (35mm).
The Optio RZ10 also offers a macro shot of quality, reaching an inch from the subject. Along with the function “smart zoom“that allows zooming in even closer on the subject, the zoom range can be extended up to about 67 times to cover the focal length of a super-tele to 1876mm (35mm).

The Optio RZ10 employs the latest version of the “Auto Picture”, that automatically selects the appropriate shooting mode depending on the subject or scene through a careful appraisal of the photographs on the subject and in its scope. This practice mode and instantly selects one of 16 so unerring shooting modes (eight ways more conventional ways such as eight new “Blue Sky”, “Tramonto” and “Pet”) and optimizes the camera‘s various settings that include sensitivity and shutter speed, ensuring the best results with minimal effort from the photographer.

The Optio RZ10 can record TV-quality movies in high definition (1280 x 720 pixels). It is also equipped sofosticata modes of “Movie SR (Shake Reduction), which automatically compensates for camera shake while filming a video with the contribution of exclusive software, making it possible for anyone to record high quality movies with minimal effort.
In addition, the Optio RZ10 has a feature Face Detection AF & AE, which detects instantly and with great accuracy up to 32 human faces present in the image field, and then optimizes focus and exposure on them in just 0.03 second – even if some faces are inclined or are not addressed directly to the camera.

The Optio RZ10 is also equipped with other convenient features to assist the photographer in capturing beautiful and lively snapshots. Among these: the filter “small face” to reduce the size of the head when shooting conditions can cause it look too great, the “Smile Capture”, which automatically triggers the shutter when the camera detects smiles on the subject, the function Blink Detection, which warns the photographer if the subject’s eyes close when shooting.
Finally, the Optio RZ10 employs a pet much more evolved, which is practical in photographing dogs and cats. This updated version not only provides much better accuracy in recognizing pre-recorded three heads of dogs or cats, but it is even able to automatically detect the heads of dogs and cats are not recorded, unlike the previous version.
