Ricoh CX4

Ricoh Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the new compact digital camera CX4. This new design offers a unique body of practical and elegant, high-power optical zoom lens (10.7 ×), with 28-300 mm wide-angle lens and better image stabilization with motion sensor. The new and advanced image stabilizer with motion sensor CX4 reduces blurring on average about 3.7 EV (3.7 stops of shutter speed) with better performance in dim indoor lighting conditions and at high zoom ratios. The camera also offers a new autofocus system Subject Tracking AF, which automatically detects the subject, ensuring that the pictures are in focus and properly exposed every time you release the shutter. This function is essential for moving subjects and close-ups.

In addition, Ricoh has developed further features designed to enhance the photographic experience, including a multi-shot panorama night mode that combines four exposures into a single photograph to reduce image noise and a creative shooting mode that highlights the artistic side of each photographer with soft focus effect, cross-process and toy camera effects.
With portability, enhanced by a newly shaped design curves that make it easier to slide the camera in your pocket, the digital compact CX4 is another step forward in Ricoh’s philosophy on the design of a camera to take with him.
